Hibernating" is the debut mini album from young (still in high school), Jerusalem based, ambient – drone – experimental – noise duo, Panda Porn. "Hibernating" is a venture into an isolated world / an awakening of a miniature universe. Panda Porn's main goal was to create an organic environment, a "living" / "physical" musical space that has it?s own special instincts and dynamics.
By delicately placing electronic frequencies on gloomy ambient – industrial soundscapes and carefully layering metallic noises & found sounds the duo manages to display the CD itself as an inhabitant hibernating inside the stereo system and reveal through the speakers it's internal occurences.
All together an experience not far from what the artists themselves went through recording the album in an isolated basement during the month of July.
